School wants consent for our son's APAAR ID. Did you sign it?

A consent form came home on Friday asking us to agree to an APAAR ID being created for our son. The covering note says it will hold his academic records and is linked to his Aadhaar, and they'd like it back by next week. I'm not against it, but I don't sign things I can't explain to myself. Has your child's school asked for this? Did you agree, and did anything on the Aadhaar side need correcting before it went through?

we got the same form for our daughter last year. signed it. the only thing that held it up was her name. aadhaar has her full name and the school register had an initial. took two rounds of forms to get them to match. worth checking before you send it back

  That's really useful, thank you. Just checked, and his Aadhaar has his surname first while the school has it last. So that's my evening sorted ❤
