School has a class 11 bridge course the week before term starts. Worth cutting the holiday short?
The school has announced an optional bridge course for incoming class 11 science students, nine to one, for the week before term starts. The circular says it 'builds the foundation for the rigour of senior secondary'. So what happens in that week? Is it the first chapters of class 11 taught early, revision of class 10, or orientation with a lot of speeches? He's had a hard year and has been properly resting. I don't want him to start June behind, and I also don't want to pay for a week of introductions.
