Our one month old gets talked to in three languages. She prefers the ceiling fan

Ma does Bengali, the caregiver does Telugu, and I've noticed I answer both of them in English. Ma has decided the baby prefers Bengali because she stopped crying once during a song. The caregiver has decided the same about Telugu. The baby mostly looks at the fan.

the ceiling fan is undefeated in our house too. ours gets telugu from my side, english from my partner's side, and turns towards whoever is holding the bottle

3 am feed and she is staring at the fan again. at least the fan doesn't argue about languages

      Replying to @cedar_rain_2378

My son is 15 now and the fan stage feels like last week. He grew up with Telugu from us and Hindi from his daycare aunties, and he still switches mid-sentence when he's tired. Enjoy the 3 am staring, strange as that sounds ❤

Wait till she starts talking and picks the one word nobody at home taught her. Ours got 'oho' from the daycare didi and now uses it for everything, including falling over
