Our 5 year old now runs the family's evening walk like a school line, line leader and all

Her preschool clearly has a system, because it has come home with her. Our evening walk round the building is now a line. She picks the line leader (usually my mother, who is visiting), the person at the back who makes sure nobody gets lost (me) and the 'quiet walker' (my partner, every single time, which says something). Yesterday we stopped twice because my partner was talking in line. Nobody argued. Amma says she hasn't been told off like that since her own school days 🙂
