Our 5 year old daughter wants cricket coaching, and the academies near Uppal start girls at 7 or 8

She plays in our building's parking with her younger brother and me most evenings, and she is properly keen. Holds the bat the right way, watches every ball. Last week she asked when she can 'go to real cricket'. The two academies near us that I called take girls from 7 or 8, or put younger children into a mixed batch that is mostly boys of nine and ten. My worry with the second option is that she'd spend the whole session fielding and come home thinking that's what cricket is for her. So it's either two more years of parking cricket with me, which she loves for now, or a batch where she'd be the smallest by a distance. I haven't decided which is the kinder choice.
