Our 3 year old has done 'preschool' at home with my partner this year. Will schools hold that against her at LKG?

My partner took a career break last year, and we decided not to send our younger daughter to a playschool. Instead there is a loose routine at home: songs, picture books, crayons, the park in the evening and a great deal of help in the kitchen. She is happy and talks constantly. We will apply for LKG for June 2027. Several parents in our building say schools prefer children who have already 'done' nursery somewhere and ask for a report from the previous school. I can't tell whether that is a real requirement or just something people assume. If it matters, we would need to find a nursery for this June, which undoes the reason we chose a year at home in the first place. Has anyone applied for LKG straight from home?
