One study table for two kids. She reads everything aloud, he needs silence
Our daughter and son are a year apart and have always done homework at the dining table together. She reads everything aloud, maths word problems included, and says that's how she remembers. He says he can't think while she is 'announcing'. We don't have a spare room, and my desk is in our bedroom for the evening production calls. Headphones for him, asking her to read under her breath, or moving one of them to the bedroom floor all seem unfair to someone. Has anyone made this work with two children who study this differently?
