Nursery at Jasrath Mission in 2027 if we move in with my parents near Charminar?

Our son is 2 and goes to a daycare near my office in Serilingampally. My parents live in the old city, close to Charminar, and we've been talking about moving in with them next year so amma and nanna can be part of his day and not just a weekend visit. If we do, Jasrath Mission High School is one of the schools near their house. Does anyone know roughly when they open nursery admissions, and whether nursery is a half day? Trying to work out whether the grandparents could manage pickup.

Grew up in the old city myself. Moving back near the parents for the kid's early years is what half my cousins did 😄 For the school part, go in person. In my experience the old city schools put the admission notice up at the gate before it shows up anywhere online.

The commute is the part I'd think about. If you keep your job in Serilingampally, that's a long drive both ways every day. Pickup would be fully on the grandparents, so ask them what they can manage on a hot afternoon, not just in principle ❤️

Grandparent pickup was our plan also, then my saasu's knees had other ideas 🙂 Talk to them about the daily part before the admission part.
