Nursery at Ahmed High School in Falaknuma. My mother's place is five minutes away

mango_camera_7344

Son is 2 and a half, so nursery next June. I'm in Masab Tank but my mother lives near Falaknuma, and having her close to the school would make my work days so much easier. Drop at school, pick up to Nani's, I collect him after work. Couple of questions for anyone with children there or who has visited: is nursery half day? English medium from the start, or mixed? And do they offer Urdu or Hindi as a language later on? I haven't called yet, wanted to hear from parents first.

We're in the same search for our son, other side of town. One question I've started asking everywhere: is the nursery in the same building as the big classes, and who walks the little ones out at dismissal. Hope someone from the school sees this ❤

Also ask how many children there are in a nursery section and whether there is an aaya in the room. We asked three schools last year and got three very different answers.

State board or CBSE, have you decided that first? It changes your list more than distance does.

I drive past it some days on the way to work. Never been inside, so nothing useful on the classes, sorry. But with our shifts I've learnt that who is near the school matters more than how far it is from home. Your mother being five minutes away counts for a lot.

That's exactly my thinking. Her lane is five minutes from there, my office is forty. Will call them on Monday and come back with whatever they say.
