Nursery at a school that stops at class 8. Did that bother anyone looking at Akshara International in Kapra?

We may move towards the ECIL side when our lease ends, so I've started a list for our little one, who is still a baby. Early, I know. My elder one is 13 and I remember how fast the nursery forms came around. Akshara International in Meenakshi Nagar came up because it's CBSE and close to where we'd look. It goes up to class 8 only. Part of me says that's ten years away and doesn't matter. The other part remembers how much I hated changing schools at 13. For parents who picked a nursery-to-8 school, did you plan the class 9 move from the start, or deal with it when it came?

When you visit, ask them where their class 8 children usually go next. They will know. Their answer will be more useful to you than anything printed.

Ten years is a long time to plan around. Plenty of children change at 9 or 11 anyway, for boards, coaching or a move like yours. What exactly worries you, the entrance tests or losing friends? Those need different answers.
