Next year's fee notice has three new lines. What is a 'learning enhancement fee'?

Fee notice for next year arrived yesterday. Tuition is up, which we expected. There are also three new items: 'learning enhancement', 'digital resources' and 'student wellbeing'. No explanation, no breakdown, payable with the first instalment. I emailed the accounts office and got the same list back. Has anyone got a school to explain what lines like these pay for? Or is the answer always 'it's mandatory'?
