My client site will be in Ameerpet for a year. Anyone looked at DKR Memorial in SR Nagar for nursery?

We live in Habsiguda, but from August I'm at a client site in Ameerpet most days, and the project is meant to run at least a year. My younger one starts nursery next June. The idea is that I drop her at a school on the way and collect her on the way back, instead of everything hanging on which days my parents can help. DKR Memorial in SR Nagar is on that stretch. It's State Board, unlike her brother's CBSE school, but at nursery I'm not sure that matters much. Anyone who has visited for the small classes: how long is the nursery day, and is there somewhere the children wait if a parent is ten minutes late?

One thing I would think through before the school itself: what happens when the client project ends or moves? In my experience a one-year engagement can turn into six months or three years, and then you have a four-year-old at a school across the city from home. I am not saying don't. Only that I would want the plan to work on the days you are not in Ameerpet too.

fair. i've been on enough one-year projects that ran two. the other half of the thinking was that habsiguda to sr nagar isn't impossible even without the client site, just annoying

couldn't sleep so i checked. on a day without ameerpet it's 45 minutes each way at school time, more in this rain. so maybe not. back to the list

this. my client site moved twice in one year, once with two weeks' notice. anything that depends on where your office is this year is a guess

Ours has done state board, English medium, right from nursery, and in the small classes the board never felt like the issue. The difference shows up later, in how much gets taught from the textbook versus around it. Can't speak for DKR specifically though, haven't been inside 🙂
