my 7 year old has appointed herself quality inspector at our sugarcane juice cart

gentle_trail_347

we stop at the same sugarcane cart near begumpet most evenings on the way home. she now watches the whole process like an auditor. checks that he adds the ginger and lemon, that the glass has been rinsed, and that i don't get more than her. yesterday she told him the second pressing was 'a bit watery'. he laughed and gave her an extra half glass. i think she's been hired.

Which cart is this? Our son is obsessed with the machine itself, the wheel and the noise. He would happily go and watch a professional inspector at work.

If you're ever on the Sainikpuri side, there's one outside the park near our lane that our boys have stopped at for years. Mine are also more interested in the crushing than the drinking. Carry your own steel tumbler if you're particular about glasses ❤️

We've stopped at a few carts around Tellapur with our daughter over the years. One thing I'd pass on for a small child: ask for no ice. The juice is pressed in front of you, but nobody can tell you where the ice came from. Has your son had it before, or would this be his first glass?
