She taught herself the cube from videos over the summer and now solves it in under a minute, which I'm told is not fast. She wants to compete. I don't know if there are proper events here, whether kids her age enter, or if it's all online. Anyone been to one?
no idea about hyderabad. but the channels she learns from probably post which events are coming up, that's how most kids find them. a minute sounds fine for a first one
Thanks, I'll ask her once she's back from school. I suspect she knows a lot more than she has told me.
She did, of course. There's an events calendar online and she's been checking it for weeks without telling me, because she assumed I'd say no. One is listed in the city later this year. The registration date is now on my calendar, with three exclamation marks. The little one now says he's competing too, with a cube he can't turn yet.
