mango season's over and so is my 11 yr old's fruit eating

lagoon_hammock_2192

april to june he ate two mangoes a day without being asked. now it's july and the fruit bowl just sits there. banana no, apple 'too hard', papaya gets a face. caregiver cuts it, it comes back. anything that works at this age besides waiting for next april

What did the mango eating look like? If it was him cutting it and eating it standing at the counter, that's the part to copy, not the mango. Cut fruit on a plate brought to an 11 year old is a request. A whole guava and a knife is an activity.

he did slurp them whole over the sink, yes. not sure guava has the same pull but will try leaving it uncut

      Replying to @lagoon_hammock_2192

jamun worked here for exactly that reason. purple hands, purple tongue, she loved it. season's short though 🤷
