Looking at Vijetha Vidyalaya in Erragadda for nursery. How does the bus handover work for small kids?

My son is 3 and we're shortlisting schools for nursery next year. Vijetha Vidyalaya in Erragadda is on the list. It's CBSE and goes all the way to 12, which I like because we wouldn't have to move him later. We live in Masab Tank, so he'd be on the bus, and that's the part I'm unsure about. For a 3 year old: who receives him at the stop, what happens if I'm 5 mins late, how do they tell parents the bus is delayed. Is there a set process or is it left to the driver and attendant? Any current parents who can share how it works day to day? Or what I should ask when we visit.

We are not at Vijetha Vidyalaya, so I can't tell you their process. When my daughter started on a school bus, these were the questions that turned out to matter: whether an attendant travels on the bus and stays with the young children, whether the child is handed only to a listed adult, what happens if nobody is at the stop, and how delays are communicated. I would ask exactly these at the visit, and ask to speak to the person in charge of transport rather than the admissions desk.

Good list. One more from our time: ask whether the stop timing is fixed or changes when routes are redone. Ours changed twice in one year and the morning plan had to be redone each time.
