LKG day at Takshasila High School in LB Nagar, if we end up renting nearby

We're in Alwal now, but my partner's commute would be much shorter from the LB Nagar side, so we've started half-looking at flats there. Nothing decided. If we do move, our son would be in LKG. A neighbour mentioned Takshasila High School. If your child is in the small classes there, when does LKG finish, and is there after-school care nearby that picks children up? I finish clinic around 4 most days and much later one evening a week.

No idea about this particular school, but when we looked at LKG for our daughter the day length varied more than I expected, from 12 to 3 across schools on the same road. I'd ask them for the exact dismissal time and whether LKG leaves with the older classes. That decides whether a van works.

  That's a good point about the van. His current preschool van takes older kids too and he sits in it for 40 minutes on some days. I'll ask about separate dismissal.

  40 min is long at that age. My grandson did a similar ride in UKG and fell asleep in the van most days, the driver used to carry him in. Ask if there is a lady attendant on the van.

  agree, dismissal time first. for after-school care we found home daycares more flexible on late evenings than the centres. worth looking once you know the area
