Release testing ran late three evenings in a row, and a chart has appeared on the fridge. Every time I walk in after their dinner, that's one fine. Fines are paid in bedtime stories. I currently owe eleven. The 5 year old is the accountant and does not offer discounts.
Mine is far too young to keep accounts, but I have a week of customer demos out of town next month and I can already feel the debt building. Do they accept payment in advance?
Payment in advance, never. Grandchildren do not accept it, I have tried. My granddaughter fines me for falling asleep before she does.
Eleven is down to eight. The accountant has now introduced interest.
