a friend from my morning walk group says his grandson goes to manuu model school in falaknuma. i assumed from the name it would be urdu medium but he says the boy studies in english. or maybe both. he wasn't sure himself. not for us, our grandson is small and his parents decide these things. just curious, and he didn't know
I don't have direct experience of the school, so please treat this as my understanding only. Given the name, I would expect Urdu to have an important place, but whether it is the medium of instruction or a language subject, and whether that differs by section or class, is something only the school or a current parent can say. Your friend's grandson's report card or textbooks would probably answer it fastest.
The textbooks are a good idea. In some schools it changes by stage, a language-heavy primary and a different medium in the later classes, so even the grandson's books may only tell you about his own class.
