If we rent near Nallakunta, would our shy daughter be the only new face in class 7 at St Augustine?

we may rent on the nallakunta side next year. st augustine high school would be walking distance, and she'd join class 7. the syllabus isn't my worry. she's shy, and it took her most of last year to find one friend. does anyone know if many children join there in the middle classes, or has everyone been together since nursery? i'm guessing she'd be the only new one.

Ask the school directly how many joined class 6 and 7 this year. A number, not 'quite a few'. Also, being the only new one can be easier than being one of five new ones who stick together and leave her out. It depends a lot on the class teacher.

From watching new joiners come into my daughters' classes: the number of new children mattered less than whether the class teacher paired the new child with someone for the first few weeks. You could ask how they settle children who join in the middle classes, and what happened with the last one.
