If we move east, would Pallavi Model School in Boduppal work with two working parents?

We may move to the Boduppal side next year. Nothing final, it depends on a few things. Pallavi Model School in Boduppal is one of the schools I've shortlisted for my son (6) and daughter (5). My real worry is the afternoon. Both of us work full days with client meetings that run late, and right now a caregiver covers the gap. Before paying any admission fee I want to know what people there do once school ends. Does the school have any after-school programme, or do parents use daycares nearby that collect from school? Any experience is welcome, even if it's "we gave up and hired someone".

Grandfather here, I do pickups for my grandson (different school, Sainikpuri side). If you look at a daycare that collects children, ask how many schools their van covers. One van doing three schools means your child waits at the gate for the last one.

kokapet side so no idea about boduppal. if the move isn't fixed i'd sort the afternoon plan first and the school after. the school part is usually the easier one

I teach in a primary school (not this one). Some schools run an activity hour or after-school club for the younger classes, but it often changes from year to year and depends on numbers. If they mention one at admission, ask whether it runs every day and whether it continues through exam weeks. Hope the move works out for you ❤️

One thing from someone who has been stuck on that road more than once: evenings around Boduppal and Uppal are nothing like Gopanpally. If one of you will do a late pickup now and then, do a trial run at 6 pm on a weekday, not on the Sunday you go to see flats 😄

Seconding the weekday trial. We did one before choosing our daughter's current school, and the route we assumed was quicker added twenty minutes at that hour.
