I teach maths. My 15 year old takes her maths doubts to her friend's older brother

Found out today. She had a trigonometry problem, walked straight past me in the hall and phoned him. He's in first year engineering. Apparently I 'explain too much'. My partner finds this very funny.

Chartered accountant here. My own relatives get someone else to look at their tax papers. I've decided to take it as a compliment.

Same story with my son and home repairs. I fix things around the house every weekend and he still watches a video before he'll ask me ❤️ I think the rule is anyone but a parent.
