how much telugu do they do in the primary classes at gowtham model school, kphb 6th phase?

at a friend's birthday party on sunday my daughter spent an hour with a girl who studies there, and the two of them tried to read the telugu on every banner in the hall. the other girl could. mine couldn't, not really. we're in tarnaka so it isn't something we'd do. but it's stayed with me. how much telugu does a state board school do in class 1 and 2? every day? from which class are they writing in it?
