How much revising do you do with a class 2 child before the half-yearlies?

Our elder daughter's half-yearly exams start after the Ganesh holidays. There's a timetable, a syllabus sheet with page numbers, and a note asking parents to "ensure adequate preparation". Last year in class 1 it was all worksheets done in class and we heard nothing till the report card. Now I don't know whether to sit with her every evening for a week or let the school handle it and see what comes back. The 2 year old will want to "study" too, whichever way we go.

ib here so no exams at this age, just portfolios. reading this i'm a bit relieved and a bit worried about what comes later. the class 2 boy next door does maybe half an hour a day in exam week, mostly his mother asking questions at dinner

IB doesn't remove assessments, it renames them. By MYP there are criteria sheets for everything. Don't be relieved too early.
