How much did the second move at class 3 bother families who chose SmartgenKids in Mayuri Nagar?

My partner's next project is based on the Miyapur side for at least a year, and we've been half-wondering whether our daughter should do her next couple of years near there instead of across town from both of us. She's going into UKG. Someone suggested SmartgenKids in Mayuri Nagar. What gives me pause is that it stops at class 2. So she'd settle in, make friends, and then move again at seven or eight. If you chose a school that ended early, was that second move a big deal, or did it just become part of the plan? Nothing's decided, and staying in Jubilee Hills is still the default.

We're in Chandanagar, so not far from Mayuri Nagar. I've never been inside the school, but I'd think hard about the drive first. Jubilee Hills to Miyapur in the morning is a long one, and on days your partner isn't at the site, someone is still doing it.

I can speak to the move, not the school. Two children joined our elder daughter's class in class 3 from a school that stopped at class 2. From what I saw as a parent, at birthday parties and the like, both had friends within a term. I have no idea what it cost their parents in effort, so treat that as an outside view.

One practical point: ask where children from the school usually go for class 3, and whether there's any arrangement with a bigger school. If most of them end up in two or three places, the second move is a short list rather than a fresh search. If nobody can tell you, that tells you something too.

That's a really useful way to look at it, thank you. I hadn't thought of asking where the class 2 children go next. Adding it to the list for when we visit ❤️

We have only just started visiting pre-nursery options for our daughter, so I can't comment on the class 3 move. What has been most useful on our visits so far is asking about the ordinary day: what time the little ones finish, who meets them at the gate, what happens if pickup is late. If your partner's site hours are fixed, the timetable may matter more than the class 2 question.
