His house lost points because of his ID card, and the class 8 captain made sure he knew it
Son's school has started a house system this year. Points for winning things, points taken away for uniform and ID cards. Yesterday he forgot his ID card, his house lost five points, and the house captain, a class 8 boy, told him off in front of the whole line at assembly. He came home and asked me to buy a second ID card 'for emergencies'. Then he asked if he could change houses. I can't tell if this is ordinary school life he should just get through, or something to mention to his class teacher. He's 10 and he's taking it much harder than the actual forgetting. Did your kids have seniors running this kind of thing?
