one idli in the right hand, being eaten. one in the left, not to be touched by anyone. if i take the spare away he stops eating the first. he's not even one yet and he already has a backup plan
Mine did this with dosa pieces. One to eat, one to guard. Years later he still takes two chapatis at a time ❤️
Insurance policy. Very sensible child.
My daughter's preschool teacher says half the class does exactly this at snack time. The spare is almost never eaten. It just has to exist.
