work from home days, he sits on the floor with his blocks while i'm on calls and ignores me for hours. the second the laptop lid clicks shut he drops everything and crawls to my chair at top speed. tried closing it slowly today. he still heard. sharper than any manager i've had
Ha, ours learnt the last whistle of the pressure cooker. Food is coming, apparently, even when it's dal for the grown-ups 😂
Enjoy it while the laptop sound means you. My older son is a teenager now, and the sound that brings him running is the car keys, because it means someone might drop him somewhere.
car keys here too. 12 yr old has never once come for 'dinner's ready' but hears keys from two floors up
