offered him banana. head shake. both hands reaching for banana. mouth open. still shaking head while eating it tried the same with milk, his toy car, going out in the pram. all no. all accepted 🤷
My grandson did exactly this. For about a month every answer was a firm no while he took the thing anyway. Then one morning the nod arrived and he used that for everything instead, including 'shall we have a bath'. I found the no phase more entertaining.
Six months here and her only form of communication is grabbing my glasses. I'd take a head shake.
Ours did the reverse, an enthusiastic nod for everything, including 'shall we cut your nails'. She is ten now and her answer to everything is 'maybe'.
