Half-yearly science paper is the morning after our lane's immersion procession

Got my daughter's half-yearly timetable today. Class 7 science lands the morning after the immersion procession that goes past our building every year, drums and all, usually till well after midnight. She says she'll sleep through it. She has never once slept through it. Thinking of shifting her to my sister's place for that one night, but she'll lose her desk and her own notes are all over it 🙂
