Getting the full list of charges from Sri Dwarakamai Model School before we decide on class 6

We're CBSE at the moment and comparing options for our daughter for next year and Sri Dwarakamai Model School in Dilsukhnagar came up because the drive from Uppal is reasonable. What this year taught me is that the tuition figure is only part of it. Transport, activity clubs, event contributions and the book bundle all came separately and at different points in the year. Before I visit anywhere I'd like to know what to ask for so that I get one complete picture at the start. Has anyone who enquired there been given everything in writing? And separately, is moving from CBSE to State Board at class 6 something people regret?

I don't know this school, we're in Tolichowki. But we did exactly this exercise when our elder one started school, with two schools. I made a small table myself and asked each office to fill the same rows: transport, uniform, books, term activities, exam charges, anything paid per event. One school gave it on paper in five minutes, the other kept saying it would be shared at admission time. That told us something by itself :)

One addition: ask which clubs are genuinely optional. I teach at a school myself, and from the staff side I know that 'optional' can quietly mean nearly every child signs up because the class is planned around it.

Also ask if transport is billed for ten months or twelve.

      Replying to @mango_kite_9993

the optional one that everyone signs up for. yes. that's the exact item that got us this year

On the board switch, we haven't done it ourselves. A cousin moved her son from CBSE to State in 6th and she said the language papers were the bigger adjustment, not maths. Might be worth seeing how your daughter is placed there 🤷
