exams finished on tuesday. last night he still brought me the maths book at 8

for three weeks we had the same routine. dinner, then half an hour at the table, me asking questions from the chapter and him answering with his feet up on my chair. class 4 exams finished on tuesday. last night at 8 he came to the table with the maths book anyway and said 'just ask me some'. we did twenty minutes of tables nobody needed. i don't think it was ever about the exam. i'm going to keep the half hour through the holidays if he lets me, even if it turns into cards, or just sitting there.
