Every mid-term paper says 'read the question carefully' in red. How do you practise that at home

Class 6 daughter. Marks are fine, but the teacher has written the same thing on all five papers. Asked for two examples, she gave one. Asked to explain, she defined. Right answers to a different question. She says she knows, she just goes fast. I don't want to pay for tuition for this. Anyone fixed it at home without turning every evening into a drill 🤷

This is so common at 11 ❤️ Something simple I've seen work: before writing anything, she circles the instruction word (list, explain, compare, give two) and writes the number of points expected in the margin. It feels slow for the first week. Try it on old papers rather than on homework, so it stays practice and doesn't become another fight.
