Every friend has joined class 10 coaching. Our son wants to do it with school alone
He has done well enough through class 9 with school alone and the occasional video when he's stuck. His friends signed up for maths and science coaching, some as early as April, and every family conversation now ends with someone asking which centre he's at. He has a plan of sorts: a weekly timetable he made himself and past papers from October. I'm inclined to let him try it till the half-yearly exams and decide then. For those whose children did class 10 without tuition, did the gap show anywhere, or was it mostly the parents' nerves?
