Do playschools around Madhapur take children mid-year, or is it June or nothing?

We had planned to start our son at playschool next June. Now my client demo travel goes up from October, and my partner's hours don't bend, so a few mornings a week from November or December would make our lives much easier. Our nanny is great but she can't do everything on the long days. The two places I called near us both said 'admissions are for June' and then 'but come and see'. I can't tell if that's a polite no. If your child started partway through the year, did the school take him in without fuss, and did he struggle joining a group that had already settled? He's two and a bit, very chatty, never been in a group setting.
