Two preschools near Motinagar have told me registrations for next June are 'almost full'. My son is 2 and settled in his daycare. Every parent at pickup is suddenly talking about seats. Is this real or a sales line? Has anyone actually waited until January or February and still got a place?
I can only tell you what I was told when I enquired for my daughter, who is a year old. I haven't been through an admission yet, so this is not experience. One centre said the same thing about seats filling. When I asked how many places they had and how many were taken, the answer became much vaguer. Another centre said honestly that they admit through the year if a child leaves. I would ask for the numbers rather than the description.
Asking for actual numbers is the right test. If they can't say how many seats and how many filled, 'almost full' means nothing. I'll do that.
