Do class 6 and 7 children at Bhoopathy High School in Nagole get to do experiments themselves?

We live in Nagole, about five minutes from Bhoopathy. My daughter starts class 6 at her CBSE school in June, and her one steady complaint is that science is watched on a screen, not done. We're not moving her this year. But if a State Board school this close has a lab that class 6 and 7 children use themselves, I'd like to know before next year's admissions. What I'm after is the ordinary week, not the open-day version. Does anyone's child there do experiments, and how often?

When we were checking schools for my son (not Bhoopathy, I don't know it), I asked to see the lab on a working day and looked at whether the benches had any wear on them. One school had a beautiful lab with the plastic still on the stools.

That's a good test. I'd add: ask a class 7 child, if you can find one, what the last experiment was. A child will either name one straight away or look blank, and both answers tell you something.

Both useful. The plastic on the stools is exactly my worry. I'll look for a neighbour's child before I visit, since the office will give me the timetable rather than the reality.
