Daycare wants a written weaning plan now that he's six months

One page, they said. What he has already eaten, what textures, what not to give yet. Our paediatrician said one new food every few days and watch for reactions. Easy at home. But daycare lunch is at 12.30 and neither of us is there. Do you try new foods only at home and give daycare a list of safe ones? How did you write it up?

That's what we did, though it was a while ago now. New foods only on weekends at home, so we were around if anything happened. Daycare got a list of things he'd already eaten three or four times without trouble. We kept that list on a sheet inside his bag and updated it every Monday ❤️

Monday sheet is a good idea. Weekends only will be slow though, he's had rice and moong dal so far. Maybe two new things a week, one on Saturday, one Sunday.

Saving this. Ours is 5 months and our caregiver will be doing the lunches, so same problem with a different person. Did your daycare give you a format or did you make your own?
