Daughter is lunch buddy for a classmate who needs help at lunch. She's proud of it, and tired

I'm not sure whether to say anything to the school, and I don't want it to come out wrong. Her class teacher asked her to be lunch buddy for a classmate who has cerebral palsy. Open her boxes, carry the tray, sit with her. My daughter was proud to be asked, and she's fond of this girl. But it has been every single day since school reopened, and yesterday she told me she hasn't sat with her own group once. She doesn't want to give it up. She just looked tired saying it. Would it be fair to ask the teacher whether the role can rotate between a few children? The last thing I want is for it to read as a complaint about the classmate ❤️
