class 3 wants her reading aloud to an adult every evening. does a video call from office count?

new reading programme this term. 15 minutes aloud, an adult listens and signs the log. our caregiver does the evenings but reads very little english, and on client workshop days i'm home after 8.30 when she's half asleep. thinking of having her read to me on a video call at 6 from wherever i am. the teacher hasn't said no, hasn't said yes either. anyone tried this. does it work or does it become 15 minutes of her showing me the cat
