my partner works from home on my clinic days. he now crawls to the study door, waits for the unmute, and goes full trumpet. two clients have asked if there's construction going on nearby.

The timing is never an accident. My daughter did this at that age, always right when someone important was talking. She's 11 now and has replaced it with very loud sighing during my calls. Different instrument, same timing 😂

Ours does it on my arm during phone consults. One patient asked if the line was bad. I said yes.

Mine did it straight into the microphone during a department meeting, about ten years ago. The head of department asked whether my laptop needed servicing. I said I would look into it.

Wait till he learns it gets a laugh. Ours now does it on purpose and then looks around for the audience.

Catching up on this late. My younger one did this all through my telephone rounds when he was small. One of my registrars still asks after 'the trumpet' ❤️
