Asking about class 9 and 10 at Gowtham Model School, Rethibowli, for my younger brother

I share responsibility for my younger brother's schooling with our parents. He's in class 9 now and the family is weighing options. An uncle who lives in Mehdipatnam suggested Gowtham Model School in Rethibowli. I'm less interested in the brochure and more in the ordinary week. For anyone with a child in the upper classes there: how much homework comes home on a normal day, and are there extra study hours in the evenings or on Saturdays as the board year gets closer?

I have no experience of this branch, but my son is in class 10 elsewhere, so I can at least share what I wish we had asked. Ask whether the extra hours are compulsory or optional, and what time the day actually ends with them, not the official dismissal time. Ask how they handle the second language for a student joining late. And from Alwal, think carefully about the daily journey in a board year. That tired our son more than the homework did.
