Art supplies shop near Sanathnagar or Ameerpet for a 12 year old who has outgrown sketch pens

Our elder son has spent most evenings this month copying buildings from photographs into an old notebook. He has asked for 'proper' pencils and paper, and beyond pencils with numbers printed on them I'm not sure what he means. I would rather go somewhere a person can tell a beginner what he needs than order a large kit that looks impressive and mostly goes unused. Sanathnagar, Ameerpet or Begumpet would be easiest.

I sketch when shifts allow, so some practical points rather than a shop name. For buildings he needs very little: three pencils (HB, 2B and 4B), a kneadable eraser, a sharpener that doesn't break the lead, and an A4 sketchbook with paper heavy enough to survive erasing. That was all I used for years. The older stationery shops around Abids and Koti usually sell these loose and are used to art students asking. Let him pick the sketchbook himself; it makes a difference to whether he uses it.
