art class near vanasthalipuram for a 6 year old that isn't just colouring sheets

my younger one has been drawing on every surface since the holidays. tried the class above the stationery shop near us, it's printed outlines and crayons for an hour. she was bored by week two looking for something on weekends, vanasthalipuram, lb nagar or dilsukhnagar side. paint, clay, anything messy. even someone who teaches from home is fine

same problem with my 4 yr old, but we're tolichowki side. the outline colouring thing is everywhere. if you find a clay one please post, clay is the only thing that holds his attention

Not at this stage yet, our son is a few weeks old. But as a child I went to a weekend drawing class near Dilsukhnagar, run by a retired art teacher from his house. Long gone now, I'm sure. People like him are still around, though, and they're found through word of mouth rather than banners. Her school's art teacher might know who takes weekend students.

The school art teacher is a good lead. At my school a couple of the art staff take small weekend batches at home. Parents only have to ask, it's rarely advertised.

We're on the other side of the city, but for my younger one what worked was a one-off pottery afternoon at a studio before signing up for anything regular. He found out whether he liked clay or just liked the idea of it. Worth a trial session before paying for a term 🙂
