Akka wants to be a lawyer at 14. Commerce or humanities after class 10, or does it not matter?

Our elder one finishes class 9 this month. Since a school debate in February she has been saying she wants to do law, and she has found the five-year integrated courses and the entrance exam all by herself. Now she wants to know whether to take commerce or humanities after class 10. I don't know how this works. My side of the family is all engineers. Does the stream matter for law, or can she take anything and decide later? Chinni is just enjoying watching akka argue with everyone 😊

From what I've read, the law entrance doesn't ask about stream. A cousin's daughter did science and then law. At 14 I'd let her keep the idea and not lock the stream to it yet.

  That's a relief. She'll be disappointed there's no special subject to pick, she was hoping for a reason to drop chemistry 😄
