Adopting a kitten around Nizampet? Our 8 year old has asked every day since summer

Son is in class 3 and has been campaigning since May. We've finally said yes to a cat, mainly because neither of us has time for a dog 🤷 Where do people around Nizampet or Kukatpally adopt from? Rescue groups, a vet who knows of litters, anything. Not looking to buy one from a shop.
