she did trial classes over the holidays, dance, art, skating, a little music thing. loved all of them, as 4 year olds do. now somehow the conversation at home has moved to which days for which class, like that was always the plan i'd like her to have afternoons where she just plays. not against classes, just not four of them. how many activities do your kids do at this age really
One is plenty at 4. Our younger one is 4 and does nothing structured right now. The elder started his first proper class at 7 and was keener for having waited.
Agree with this. With my elder daughter we said yes to three things at once when she was six, and by Saturday all of us were tired and snappy. The younger one has just one, and our weekends feel completely different. She still asks about the others sometimes, which is fine ❤️

the tired by saturday part is exactly what i'm worried about. we've picked dance for now and told her the others can wait till summer. she took it better than her parents did tbh
