11 year old wants the front seat now. What age do you go by?

She's taller than half her class and has decided she's done with the back seat. Her argument: her friend sits in front 'every day'. My argument: the airbag, mostly, and also that I like having her eye-rolls where I can't see them 😄 Do you go by age, height, or just give in at some point? Asking before this becomes a daily negotiation on the school run.
