Just off a night shift at the airport. At my daughter's pool the coaches stand at the door of the boys' side for the small ones and help with costumes if asked. Worth asking his coach whether anyone does that at yours. They've seen this a hundred times.

My daughter does the same with her swimming kit. She knows what costumes and meet entries cost and offers to skip meets 'to save money'. We've told her that worrying about it is our job. Not sure it has gone in.
