With my first, the list of things we opened in the first two weeks was short: swaddles, a few clothes in the smaller size, burp cloths, and the nail clipper, once. I used the nursing pillow daily. The bottles sat in their box for two months. This time we keep a shared list on both our phones and nobody buys anything that isn't on it. It hasn't stopped the duplicates completely. Do your families check with you before buying, or do things just arrive?

I'm expecting too, my second, and I still drive myself to the warehouse and to customers. My doctor said it was fine as long as I was comfortable and took breaks on longer stretches. The only change I made was dropping the long afternoon trips when the traffic is worst, because I was more tired than I expected to be. Has your doctor said anything about how long the drives should be?

It may help to agree with your partner on who answers what. In our home, criticism from my side of the family goes to me, and from my partner's side goes to my partner. It stopped a lot of resentment between the two of us, whatever the elders thought. Does your partner hear these calls?
